This project aims to address the challenges faced by the HW Padepokan Mosque takmir during the Eid Qurban event, particularly delays in distributing sacrificial animal meat due to inefficient traditional cutting methods using axes and machetes. Despite assistance from professional personnel, the process remains time-consuming and unsafe. The takmir attempted to create a cutting tool but failed to meet health, safety, and ergonomic standards. To resolve this, the Mechanical Engineering Project Design Team (PDT) was engaged to design and construct a safe, ergonomic, and health-compliant cutting machine. The project involves meticulous design, construction, and training on machine use, maintenance, and occupational health and safety (K3) practices. The expected outcomes include a functional prototype, K3 training modules, and publication in an accredited national journal. This initiative ensures a more efficient, safe, and timely distribution process for future Eid Qurban events.
