Tangkor labang village is located in Sreseh District, Sampang Regency, East Java. It is an agricultural area where most of the people raise cattle. They produce a lot of cow dung waste every day and very few of them utilise it properly. To overcome the cow dung waste, the waste can be utilised as a renewable energy source, one of which is biogas. Making biogas consists of the main ingredients, namely cow dung and water. Mixing water and cow dung 1:1 (45 litres of water: 45 kg of cow dung) requires several fermentation processes to produce methane gas, namely Hydrolysis, Acetogenesis, and Methanogenesis stages. Biogas production from cow dung has the potential to be utilised as a renewable energy source that can help the community to be used as fuel.
